歌曲《Don't Cry for Me Argentina》(中文译为《阿根廷，别为我哭泣》)
最早出自著名音乐剧《Evita》，即《贝隆夫人》。
《Evita》中的音乐是由音乐剧大师蒂姆·赖斯与安德鲁·劳埃德·韦伯共同创作，经过长达四个月，400个录音小时的艰苦工作完成，后又做了146处改动，曲风囊括了南美bosa nova爵士、蓝调(blues)、探戈(tango)、华尔兹(waltz)、及流行音乐(pops)等元素。
所获荣誉
1976年，韦伯首先推出了由朱丽叶·科文顿（Julie Covington）演唱的单曲《Don't cry for me Argentina》
在1977年2月于英国发行时达到了音乐排行榜的第一名，同时在世界各地的发行也都非常成功。
1978年，艾薇塔·贝隆的跌宕一生被改编成音乐剧，在伦敦西区全球首演并连续演出了3176场，很快成为了西区和百老汇的经典剧目，并一直巡演至今。
观众熟悉的音乐剧天后伊莲·佩姬，饰演了初版的艾薇塔一角，佩姬以此赢得了奥立佛奖“最佳音乐剧演出”奖，此外，该剧还获得奥立佛奖最佳新音乐剧奖
1980年该剧又横扫多项托尼奖，更成为了首部摘取托尼奖“最佳音乐剧”的英国音乐剧作，百老汇版主演帕蒂·鲁普恩也获得了托尼奖最佳音乐剧女主角。

犹记得第一次听《Don't cry for me Argentina》是在高一的音乐课上，音乐老师那时还专门带来了视频播放，给我们放映了影片《Evita》中最经典的一段：麦当娜站在阳台之上演唱《Don't cry for me Argentina》
随着悠扬婉转的乐声，歌曲演唱至高潮部分，台下一片沸腾，我们也能感觉到其中的情感正在逐渐变得热烈。
