On the First Page

Hello,my  dear readers ! Well , first I'd like to thank you for reading my diary. Now I want to introduce myself on my first diary in English .

My name is Irita , or you can call me"海蒂".This name comes from one of my favorite figure in a very famous classic book《 Le Comte de Monte-Cristo》, whose Chinese name is《基督山伯爵》.

This year I am sixteen years old ,in the meanwhile ,I am in Grade Ten in a key high school. I like English. English is not one of my best subjects——It's exactly my best subject ! For me ,the significance of English-learning is not just for gaining high grades.In the process of learning English ,I have get so much fun that couldn't  be counted.I am almost the only student in my class who enjoys memorizing words and reading English novels.

Our school bought English newspapers for us every week,however,my teachers only ask us to do passage questions and blanks that appear on our exam papers . They don't give us time to  read some good passages coming from well-known fictions .I feel puzzled,but I read every article in my free time.It's my joy to read English.

What' more , I like reading books,especially those novels that touch my heart.I like science,especially physics.It's lucky enough for me to be the first-year students that enjoy College  Entrance Examination Reformation .Since I like history I chose it. So in the next two years I will study this subject deeper. With so many hope,I have the confidence to gain better drades.

My first-dream school is Tsinghua,and the second is Shanghai Jiao Tong University,and then is Renmin University of China.I do believe I can realize my dream through my hard work.

In the end , I am glad to make friends with you who like English as me.It's my first time to type so many words in English at one time . I hope you can point out my mistakes in grammar or word-spelling.Very thankful for reading . Good night !
