写在前面

想把英语捡起来，但是无从下手，作为一个已经工作了的职场人。看了很多推荐，最后买了《English For Everyone》，写这个系列一是监督一下自己认真看完，二是做个笔记吧，分享一下也便于自己以后复习。本系列从level2开始。

“to be”

用于向别人介绍自己或者与自己有关的人或事情。

一般形式

I am Wency.

I am 20 years old.

I am Chinese.

一般是subject + 'to be' + rest of sentence形式。规则如下：

• I + am + Chinese
• You + are + Chinese
• He/She/It + is + Chinese
• We/They + are + Chinese

Negtive

subject + 'to be' + not + rest of sentence.
I am not Australian.
You are not Australian.
She is not Australian.

Question

'to be' + subject + rest of sentence.
Are you Canadian?

使用am/is/are填空

1. You ____ so talented.
2. I ____ so happy.
3. They ____ our partners.
4. The news ____ surprising.
5. They say money ____ power.

1. are 2. am 3. are 4. is('news'在英语中是单数，指消息，'The news'应该是'It', 所以是'it is') 5. is (subject 是 money，it is power)

总结

1. 记一下固定搭配， I am, You are, He is, It is, They are.....
2. 分清主语（subject）是什么，主语应该算作第一人称（I），第二人称（you），第三人称单数（He/She/It），还是复数We/They.
