I'll tell you how the Sun rose

A Ribbon at a time-

The Steeples swam in Amethyst-

The news , like Squirrels , ran-

The Hills untied their Bonnets-

The bobolinks-begun-

我来告诉你 太阳升起时的模样

每次都穿戴一条丝带--

头顶在紫色水晶里徜徉--

他来的消息，就像松鼠奔跑--

山峦摘下他们的礼帽--

食米鸟儿开始鸣唱--

Then I said softly to myself

"That must have been the Sun "！

But how he set-I know not-

There seemed a purple stile

That little Yellow boys and girls

Were climbing all the while-

于是我对自己轻声细语

“那一定就是太阳”

A Dominie in Gray

Put gently up the evening Bars
