Just Boost it!
While waiting for the morning bus, Chris and I would talk about a wide variety of topics like weather, weekend, work and culture. It is kind of kick-back and relax and I find him a rather fun guy although he thinks of himself being reserved. Today he taught me a slang word "muggy", which is used to describe a warm and damp weather. It turned out that he disliked such a muggy day, whereas I was enjoying it so much. After all, a wet weather is far more adorable than a dry one. What do you think?
As my body is gradually getting accustomed to the local environment, I'm able to enjoy my life again and more importantly, give efforts to focus on what I'm doing. A few days ago, I was told by Michael that I'd participate in a five-thousand-meter race on Dec. 18, when the clinic's annual sports meeting would be held, and I'm supposed to win the first place. I asked him back, "Is it possible to count backward?"
To be honest, I'm not an athletic talent and completing a five-thousand-meter race would apparently not be a picnic for me. However, thinking from another perspective, this could be taken as a good chance to play sports and develop my endurance! A good attitude is a treasure and a moderate exercise method is a must. To begin with, I walk back home from Parramatta Interchange Station during the afternoon commute instead of taking a bus as before, which is around 2.5 km. What comes next is I'd run another 2.5 km on the treadmill in the evening and thereafter have a shower for a relief. To protect my muscles, I'd also do some slow and gentle stretching ahead of and after running, which was learnt during my dance class before.
Let's check it out whether it works well and hopefully I could survive successfully~
