blunt定义之一：not sharp or pointed 钝的，不锋利的，不尖的

定义之二：speaking in an honest way even if this upsets people 〔说话〕不客气的，直言不讳的，耿直的

有个词叫锋芒毕露，刀锋和矛尖都露出来。

blunt显然不是这样的，因为它not sharp（不尖、不锋利）。

那么，不锋利的blunt，怎么和直言不讳的blunt联系起来了呢？

仔细一想，直言不讳往往会导致对方内伤，就像被钝器所伤一样，比伤在表皮更严重。

原来是这样！

看来我以后说话得注意点了……
