Welcome to 2019!
Happy New Year! A new year has begun and that means many things! One of which is new years resolutions! Let me start off by saying my new year's resolution. This year I aim to be more self-organised and confident. Recently my confidence has been lowered and I aim to find it this new year. Also to be responsible and harder working. Those qualities are what I am aiming for this year. Recently my articles have been more sloppy than before and this year I hope that my new year's resolution motivation will help me with that.
新年快乐！新的一年已经开始，这意味着许多事情！其中一个是新年决议！让我先谈谈我新的一年的决议。今年，我的目标是更加自我组织和自信。最近我的信心降低了，我的目标是在新的一年找到它。也要负责任，更努力工作。这些品质是我今年的目标。最近我的文章比以前更加草率，今年我希望我新的一年的决议动机将帮助我。
Other things that 2019 welcomes are new technology! We all know that technology is the future and there is no denying it. This year the technology will grow even more advanced and there is bound to be exciting news. Just going over what we might see for 2019 technology, we have the new iPhone (as Apple releases at least one phone per year) and bezel-less phones are a definite thing. Virtual Reality gaming will become even more advanced with full body movement treadmill systems so you can literally be in the game! This means you can run 20 kilometres in a game and stay in the comfort of your home! It would also give an exercising aspect to playing video games and the ability to improve human body movement as this system relies on your performance to determine the outcome of the game, so not just finger skills.

The world is pumped up for what 2019 has in store for us, literally!

Next, we have science. Pretty recently four new elements were introduced to the periodic table of elements (Nihomiun, Moscovian, Tenesseium, Oganesson). This in itself was a spectacular achievement, so with the advanced technology, we were talking about we might just be one step closer in our journey to colonise Mars. Though some people don't like the thought of moving to Mars, we have no other choice unless we stop harming the earth with our plastics, rubbish and carbon emissions. I have written many articles about this topic and I hope we can at least all understand the situation. This leads perfectly to our next 2019 topic, planetary status.

Our planet is under extreme stress. Our government has made it a priority in our studying curriculum to learn about what we are doing to our planet and how we can stop it together. We spend around 1/6 of our studying time at school learning and analysing the situation of the earth. If the government has made this a curriculum requirement and we are spending all this time studying about our eventual devastation, moving to Mars and doing all these things to help our planet then it must be a serious issue.

Though 2019 could change that. If we all could do the planet some good deeds by throwing all the rubbish in the right place and reducing our carbon emission we could save our planet and prevent the day that we all might have to abandon earth. But that is highly unlikely.

One last thing about 2019 that is undeniable is the positivity that we all have. One thing that we can not forget is our positivity and our ability to stay that way. With all the good, there will still be bad, but we just have to keep our heads high and have a great year!
