【焕发5】Am I being Cynical？

This weekend I was watching the handmaids tale, I'm really interested in the story, but I have to say season 2 sux!

Am I being Cynical？

Here are the reasons I’m upset with season 2:

1.Keeping flashing back but didn't really give useful information or fun story. For example, Moria successfully escaped to another country, but she still upset time to time. there are more details of how she had fun in bar, or try to gig out more information about her friend. in last season they did't even talk about her baby or her girlfriend at all, but out of sudden, the show spent almost 20mins on her story and past (but failed to make people feel  touched)

2.Everything is so slow, they use slow motion a lot , they create small conflict , but did not really tell what's new going on. in summary, so far I'm in season 2, episode 9 , June try to escape but got caught, she almost lost a baby but she is healthy now, some important girls all come back from the colony ( by the way, I have not figure out what are they digging there and what's the main purpose of that, when they show this part but didn't' tell a story , it sux）, the story is really slow.

3.It's hard to understand the handmaid's rule. In the beginning, I thought they got every women who can still get pregnant, and turned them to be the handmaid, but later we can see they are still some women can have baby but live peacefully in home, and safe. I really want to know their rules and details, I don't really understand...

Anyway , it sux but the story over all is still good, so I'll keep watching, at least finish season 2.
