1、acquaintance——相识、熟悉、感性认识；熟人、认识的人

例:（1）、have a nodding ~ with a person 同某人有点头之交。 （2）、He is not a friend,only an ~.他不是朋友，只是相识。

2、opportunity——机会、良机

例：（1）、I am glad to have this ~ of speaking to you.我很高兴能有这个机会同诸位讲话。

（2）、I take this ~ of thanking you.我趁此机会来感谢你们。
