Scott recently began to like brushing his teeth.

When he first saw me brushing my teeth, he brushed my teeth with a toothbrush .

Later, he brushed his teeth with a toothbrush, but he didn't like toothpaste.

Recently, he also likes to brush his teeth with toothpaste. Because he can gargle and spit.
