Reading Cave of Guilin
The Reading Cave is located near the eastern foot of Solitary Beauty Peak. During Liu Song period of the Southern Dynasty. The famous writer yanzhi often read and composed here when he was governor of Shi'an country （now Guilin）. This cave is close to a pond and has many stone inscriptions on the walls. It's the birthplace of culture and education in the Southern China and is the foundation of the famous historical and cultural city of Guilin.
