TENDER TRANSPLANTS

Some people are embarrassed about having a tender heart. They feel (or perhaps have been told) that in this world they need to be tougher. That they cannot be led by compassion. That they must be realists, have a stiff upper lip. That’s the only way they’ll get through life.

Yet a tender heart is exactly what God is looking for. What the world may see as a defect, He considers an asset. For it is only that tender heart that will seek Him, listen to what He has to say, and then actually do what He has told them to do.

When you came to Jesus, you received a new heart and a new spirit. And those transplants are what’s going to make you a mighty woman for God. A courageous yet kindhearted female who when God says, “Who will go for me?” will respond obediently with a warm, “Send me, Lord, Send me.”

Thank You, Lord, for making me a courageous yet kindhearted female who will willingly serve You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
