段为发挥志愿服务在培育和践行社会主义核心价值观的重要而独特的作用，繁荣和推广志愿服务文化，3月25日下午，北京志愿服务发展研究会在中国矿业大学（北京）交流中心报告厅举办“论志愿”学术大讲堂第二讲暨志愿服务文化专场报告会。北京市志愿服务指导中心主任郭新保、中国矿业大学（北京）党委副书记王忠强、北京社科院首都文化研究中心主任沈望舒教授等出席报告会，北京市志愿服务指导中心、中国矿业大学（北京）相关处室以及各级各类志愿服务组织负责人、基层志愿者代表超过200人参加报告会，北京电视台主持人李向显主持报告会。

In order to develop the important and uniquerole of the volunteer services in cultivating and practicing socialist core values, boom and promote volunteer service culture, the afternoon of March 25th, seminar on the development of Beijing volunteer serviceheld the second”on voluntary“ academic auditorium-volunteer service culture special report in China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) hall Exchange Center. 段王忠强同志在致辞中指出，志愿服务是现代社会文明进步的重要标志，党和国家高度重视志愿服务事业和志愿服务组织发展。希望中国矿业大学（北京）相关部门及广大志愿者加强学习，完善志愿精神理论体系，推动志愿服务实践探索，强化志愿服务的育人职能。会上，市志愿服务指导中心主任助理陈光为中国矿业大学（北京）思政学院授“北京志愿服务研究基地”并颁发荣誉牌，思政学院党总支书记李妍教授接牌。随后，首都的士雷锋车队队长王风进、“志愿家庭”代表陈博今、中国矿业大学（北京）志愿者甘福攀作交流发言。最后，沈望舒教授作了主题为《志愿服务在中国优秀传统文化传承中的价值与功能》的讲座，报告内容丰富，理论结构清晰，不时响起阵阵掌声。
