other,others, another, the other
最近老有人问我怎么区分这一家子，最开始我还挺疑惑，网络上解析都很详细，视频也不少，学校老师也反复讲，怎么就是不明白。
直到我自己去百度的时候，才发现，解析倒是都挺详细，不过没几个人看完吧。
首先要搞清楚这几个搭配，需要了解词性方面的知识。最关键的是，人都太懒了，想天上掉馅饼，看着满篇的解析头就晕了，总想着有人给他直接塞进脑子里。
当语法基础不怎么好的学员看到什么“两者中的另一个”“三者中的另一个”，一般都是一脸问号。
我来试试吧，看有没有办法塞进你脑子里。
大家一起方其实网上很多解释非常全面，不过适合基础还好的学员看，想想我读书时代好像也是靠感觉选的答案，并不是真正明白其中的语法道理。
在辨析这四个搭配前，咱们需要回顾一下，一个最基本的句型。
主谓宾，听了无数遍，但是没有很清楚这三个字有什么意思。
主谓宾，我翻译为A对B干了什么事。
也就是说A和B都是人或者物，必须是名词性的存在，必须是名词或者代词。
比如I like the (beautiful )girl.
主语是I 谓语是Like,宾语就是the girl,那个形容词beautiful只是修饰咱们的girl的，传说中的定语。
宾语在这个句型里有着举足轻重的地位，而beautiful定语，有它没它不会影响句子的完整性。总不能说I like beautiful
一、那么分清楚形容词和名代词，咱们开始分辨other 和others.
I don't believe others=I don't believe other people.
Some children went to cinema, others stayed at home.
=Some children went to cinema, other children stayed at home.
可以看出others=other +名词复数
others 翻译成其他人（物），是代词，可以直接做主语或者宾语。other翻译成“其他的”不能做主语或者宾语，必须要加一个名词复数才可以！
记住：some……some…… others 是考试总常见的搭配
Some cleaned the windows, others mopped the floor.
有的擦窗户, 有的擦地板。
二、然后，我们来看another,翻译成又一个，另一个
用法：
1代词，直接做主语或者宾语
2形容词，another+一个单数名词，做主语或者宾语
3 another +数字+名词复数=数字+more+名词复数
例子更清晰：
1The dress is too small,please show me another\another one\another dress.
（考试中，不是衣服紧了就是裤子短了，经常用在购物场合挑东西的时候）
2 The task is too difficult ,I need another two days.
=The task is too difficult ,I need two more days.
记住：another直接跟名词的话，一定一定是跟的单数名词，因为人家的意思是“又一个”“再一个”！选择题里，要是有复数选项直接就排除掉了！
三、再来看the other 和other ，上面说到，other是形容词
（我知道词典里也有代词的词性，但是那个不怎么用，不要跟我理论，99%的情况掌握了就别去纠结那1%了好么）
the other 可以做代词或者形容词。也就是说它跟another一样，加不加名词都能做主语或者宾语
真正的考点在这里！
A :the other 出现的地方一定有一个字叫“two”（可能会出来得比较含蓄）
考试中经常用的句子是
1He has two children, one is boy , the other (one) is girl.
2 On the other hand, many women choose to go out to work.（另一方面，看，一般人是两只手吧）
写作文的时候可以用on the one hand, on the other hand.一方面另一方面。
3 We rowed over to the other side of the river.(河的两岸，和公路的两岸也经常见到）
4Put it in your other hand. 把它放在你另一只手里。
B 当the other +复数名词的时候，咱们就要跟the others 拿来对比了。
翻译成剩下的，其余的。
四、同other 和other 的区别一样，the other+名词复数约=the others（打不来约等号怪我咯）
Mary is much taller than the other girls.
Mary is much taller than the others.
从句子的完整性上，两者相同，意思有微妙的差别。所以我用的约等号
所以我们着重说一下the others和others的区别（老实说，这两个是最没有必要区分的，因为差距真的不大，比较模糊一点，考试的几率也不大）
要说中文才是博大精深，others翻译成“其他人”“别人”，the others 翻译成“剩下的人”“其余的人”
有区别么？
有的。谁叫你不好好学中文。
I don't believe others.我不相信别人。（这哥子对全世界或者全宇宙的人都是不信任的，范围太广了一点）
I don't believe the others.我不相信剩下的人。（这句的背景值得考究，可能是，除了你，剩下的人我都不信，一般考试的时候会给你一个范围，比如一个班，一个团队）
这句话就比较完整了：
In this team , I only believe you, I don't belive the others.
一般看得出有范围的，咱们就用the others.
不过老实说，真没多大意义去区分，一是不怎么考它俩的区别。二是靠语感。况且它俩本来就有重合的部分。
I imagined the eyes of the others in the room upon me.
我觉得屋里其他人似乎都在盯着我。
He ran faster than others. 加不加the区别真不大。
光学不练假把式
光学不练，等于没学，如果只是明白了道理不刷题，考试还是会死翘翘。试试吧
