World economy-past and future te

This article is from Jan.2015the economist.It firstly states the theme that“the world economy in 2015 will carry troubling echoes of the late 1990s”. Then, the author makes a contrast between the economic circumstances of 2015 and the late 1990s, further pointing out that there are there trends at work that destablished the world economy: the unbalance economy gap between accelerating America and other slowing countries; the dismal outlook for the world’s two other big economics-German and Japan; the crisis of emerging market.

That three parallels between 2015 and the 1990s. However, the author express a pessimistic attitude toward the 2015’s economy because the worse political scene and the interest rate over the rich world are close to zero, which leaves little scope for cutting when the economy slowed.

Generally, after reading this article, I found that even if there are some economy terms which are difficult for me, the comparison author demonstrates is very instructive and clear, which makes me have a new outline of the world economy.
