如何在写作中使用补语从句
写作中使用补语从句应注意如下事项：
1.where, why, because, how等引导的从句作that is和this is的补语时，表示具体的地点、原因、方式等。如：This is why he was late.
2. 主语是reason时，补语从句常用that，不用because。
The reason for his absence was that he was ill.
3.as, as if, because有时也可引导补语从句，as if引导的补语从句有时也可用虚拟语气，表示可能性小。如：It looks as if it is (or were) going to rain.
4.当主句的主语是suggestion, proposal, idea, order, plan等词时，补语从句的谓语用虚拟语气。如：His suggestion was that we (should) go shopping together.
补语从句在写作中可构成如下十大常用句型：
1.The first (last) thing(point) to be mentioned (shown, considered) is that…
2.The advantage(disadvantage) of (doing) something is that…
3.The possible reason(cause, element) is that…
4.The measure (step) to be taken is that…
5.Another solution is that…
6.That is why…
7.Why…is that…
8. A hot topic discussed by people is whether
9.A is to B what C is to D;A is to B as C is to D
10. My view (opinion) is that…
