1. 这句话的主句核心即主谓宾结构。

--the word（主）“amateur”（同位语） does carry （谓语）a connotation （宾语）；

2. 后面that引导的是名词性从句，解释说明前面的抽象名称connotation；在名词性从句中，有and并列is not integrated和may not share两个谓语部分。

译文：
