In order to learn Buddhadharma, according to the sutra, we should learn Dharma by the process of listening and hearing, contemplation and reflection, and meditation, and entering Samadhi. That is to say, we can get wisdom by listening and hearing, or reading, and then we can use our brain to constantly think and repair to obtain wisdom. This process is like a computer running, inputting, processing, and outputting. "Reading" is just input. After input, we should understand what the concept really means, what is the similarity between this concept and what we have learned before, and what are the differences? Where else can this concept and methodology be used? Constant questioning and thinking is to deal with it. Therefore, people often say that reading is for understanding. Reading is to learn the author's ideas, concepts and methodology. What benefits will readers get if they can't read everything at a glance? The so-called "The little monk has no intention of reciting the sutra". And "output" is self-processing, which is the wisdom of the practice.
