Hurricane
When the grievous news came
The sky quickly turned dark and threatening
Black clouds show that a storm is imminent
The sky blackened and soon it began to rain
Like a thunderclap, the horrible news over powered me
A terrible shock movement like a hurricane.
I always think it is a nightmare coming by a mistake
A heavy blow news doubled me up
Heartbroken, I was choked with tears
Tears like rain falling down
My face was drowned in tears
I prayed Lord, help me to find the courage
Help me find energy to fly back my hometown
Run and run fast I can
Oh, mom
Why you couldn’t wait for me come home
You’re already smiling in heaven
Like warm sunshine to me
I sat mute, speechless with ecstasy, gazing into the sky
God's great power is in the gentle breeze, not in the storm
So many memories crowded into my mind
Scenes of the past leap before my eyes
A mother sat by the sick child all night long
That episode was still as vivid as her
She was hold crying little girl from injection
She was gazing at her with a soft, contented smile on her face.
My childhood still appear vividly before me
I seems looking at her disappearing figure far and far away
Gradually, the fragments of my mother came back to me
Even right now I can still imagine her smile
