'The play may begin at any moment,' I said. 

'It may have begun already,' Susan answered.

I hurried to the ticket-office. 'May I have two tickets please ?' I asked.

'I'm sorry, we've sold out,' the girl said.

'What a pity!' Susan exclaimed.

Just then, a man hurried to the ticket-office.

'Can I return these two tickets?' he asked.

'Certainly,' the girl said.

I went back to the ticket-office at once.

'Could I have those two tickets please ?' I

asked.

'Certainly, 'the girl said, 'but they are for next Wednesday's performance. Do you still want them?

'I might as well have them,' I said sadly.

练习感悟：star出差两天了，一个人带着俩娃。没有时间辅导大宝的学习，这两天都没有给她读英语，她说等爸爸回来再读。我也是分身无术，小宝总是粘着我，一刻不离开。总是理解那些一个人带娃的单亲父母，是有多累，心累。没得个商量的人，心里苦，小宝托班开学的时候，开家长会，有一个小宝贝的妈妈是单亲家庭，她上去陈述的时候，还没说出话来，就哭了出来。真心两个人一起育娃，就是一个同心合力的大工程，那些单亲的娃儿，娃儿苦，大人更苦。

扯远了，晚上等娃们睡了，还是读书，英文原著或者写作方面的书，十二点睡觉，早晨五点准时起床再读书，中午最多休息一个小时，在疲惫的程度上，刚好达到我的极限，已经习惯了晚上睡五小时，中午睡半小时的规律。新概念读得越来越进步，跟白天练习赖世雄课程有很大的关系，一整天都在跟读老师的发音，纠正，饱满，正确。希望一切越来越好。

给孩子的学习制定的计划，也需要根据实际情况不断的调整。
