12月晨读复盘

第二次参加晨读,第一次参加语音类的晨读,和自己的时间冲突,依然参加不了直播,只得全程事后听录音。最大收获就是真正意识到节奏、语调及重音的重要性。这需要大量的语音输入来解决,所谓内行看门道,只有听得多,并且不断思考总结,才能感觉出英语的节奏、语调及重音应该是怎样的。

以下是流水账笔记

Dec. 10

元音:发音时没有阻碍,舌头不需要特别放在哪里

辅音:发音时有阻碍,舌头需要特别放在哪里

前元音: 舌头的最高点在前面

中元音: 舌头的最高点在中部

后元音: 舌头的最高点往后扯

What do you have? 你想吃点儿啥?

What are we having today?我们今天吃点儿啥?

I love meat a lot.

I am a vegeterin/carnivor/meat person.

or的发音简略成

Three coffees, please

做两份: Make it two.

pick up有很多意思,表示学习指的是比较随意地学习

1.country [ˈkʌntri] 注意country 的发音,之前一直读错了

2.from/for 介词放在句尾不能轻读,甚至需要重读

/r/发音时舌头不碰任何地方

/j//w/两个音也是同样,发音时舌头不碰任何地方,像元音的辅音/半元音

Unit 8 非常放松的音节 /ə/

/u;/弱化成 /ə/: do, to, you

中间元音变成e:Paris,Alice

1. Alice, Paris,元音弱化成 ə

3.语调的三声一般就是重读啦

4.不要太纠结发音,更注重整体语流。Be aware of the big picture. Be aware of your priorities. Pays yourself.

5. 如果不知道语调应该如何处理,就模仿到和原声一模一样。多听原声,减速模仿

6. 先注意听原声是如何念的,感受声音,想象舌位、嘴型、下巴的变化,再张嘴。不要直接跟读,不要急!Pure Mimicry.

(Can 不要重读, supermarket s的发音像苏州的苏)

Whole wheat.  (whole 嘴巴可以不撅,舌头往后)

- And can you get a couple of cans of tuna fish?  (of 是/w/的音)

- Do you want tuna packed in oil or water?(oil有y的音)

- vanilla yogurt. (连读 )

- Hey, that's a lot of stuff! (连读起来像是 lotta)

- And one more thing—a pint of ice cream.

- (nt, nd结尾的 t 和 d 会省略,感觉像是 pinof

- 同理 went away 读成 /wenaway/; 其他例子:and I , and his)

7. whole的 /oul/ 组合在一起时,/ou/可以不用噘嘴,直接过度到 l

8. of 弱读时v常常可以省略,例如 a lot of stuff = a lotta stuff

9. off-the-cuff 即兴的

10. A painting is more than the sum of its parts.

11. doctor 作动词,表示文件、图片被修改,例如:This photo has been doctored./ photoshopped.

12. way 的灵活用法

(1) on the/your/its way 的不同含义:

① 即将发生:More changes are on the way.

② 在(前往某地的)路上:He should be on the way here by now.

③ 在...的路上:I ran out of gas on my way home.

④ (婴儿)即将出生:Her daughter is on the way.

(2) out of the way 的不同含义:

① 不碍事:Why don't you tie your hair back, out of the way?

② 处理完了:As soon as the contract's out of the way, we can start.

(3) be under way 的不同含义:

① 已经开始:The competition got under way on Monday.

② 出发:Our train was already under way.

quick and dirty 简单粗暴

/ʊ/

1. /ʊ/是微撅嘴的/ʌ/,而不是缩短的/uː/

“短元音” /ʊ/,一定要注意的是和长元音/u/ 的区别。区别并不是在于发音长短,而是发音位置完全不一样。

- 长元音/u/ 嘴巴向前面撅,舌头向后面拉,向上面拉。

- 短元音/ʊ/ 的发音,和/ʌ/,/ə/区别不大,只是前者还需要嘴巴微微向前撅起,也是一个非常放松的“松元音”。

6. 形容食物好吃:

delicious 比较夸张,并不常用

单词里的元音ou都是/ʊ/,但是实际句子中发音弱化为央元音/ə/

- could you,would you 可以连读,中间加上/dʒ/ 的音,

- couldn't you, shouldn't you 也可以连读,中间加上/tʃ/ 的音

1. 发这个音时不用张大嘴巴

要想说得自然,连读非常重要。

重读时此音念得比较完整,不重读时不用念得那么完整

calm down (梗来自广告)/take it easy/Easy/Chill/Relax/ Keep it together/Don't panic(梗来自《太空漫游指南》)

We have(此处发音为f) to get it out somehow.

somehow however 无论如何的意思

We have company coming from out of the town. 咱们有朋友要来

pronounce pronunciation,这两个单词发音是不同的

1.  /s/后面接/t/,t的送气没有那么强了。其实没有浊化这个概念。
