During my first week at the new school, I observed that cheating was rampant. I had always considered it rather inane to cheat on a test because of my code of ethics, and because so much was at stake. Apparently the other students didn’t concur. In fact, even the presence of a proctor did not intimidate them. Far from being a clandestine activity, the cheating was open and obvious.

During my first week at the new school, I noticed that cheating was widespread. I had always regarded cheating on a test was rather foolish. It is not only because of my code of ethics, but also because so much was at risk when someone cheats. It is obvious that the other students didn’t agree. As a matter of fact, even when the supervisor of the examination was present, they were not intimidated. Instead of doing it secretly, the cheating at the new school was open and obvious.
