help的用法真是多

The verb help is not used with the ing form of another verb. It is used with the infinitive (with or without ‘to’) in any of these patterns:

这是另一种用法:

  1. To aid someone in entering something or place.
    Help Grandma in, will you? She sometimes struggles with those steep steps.
  2. To aid someone in some pursuit or action (named after "in").
    Can you help me in finishing this application? I'm not sure what to write here.
    I'm sure someone helped him in his attempt to burglarize our house.

Please help me in my efforts to win the contest. Will you help me in my reelection?
