While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples  (Acts 19:1 NIV)

and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”  (Acts 19:2 NIV)

So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied.  (Acts 19:3 NIV)

Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.  (Acts 19:14 NIV)

And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that gods made by human hands are no gods at all.  (Acts 19:26 NIV)
