Approach deadline in a more enjo

Several years ago, the thing I hated most was to prepare for demo lessons, because I had to pull all nighters and this made me extremely exhausted. I refused to make preparations earlier because I did not like this task. Therefore, I just left all the work to the two days before the lesson. Luckily I was much healthier and younger, and I could manage to do that.

This year, I realized I could no longer stay up late to make such preparations. I started to consider the lesson design two weeks ago,  and I managed to add a little bit to my demo lesson file every day afterwards. I wrote the design draft on Friday afternoon,  found all the pictures I needed on Saturday afternoon and finished the PowerPoint on Sunday. It took me almost 10 hours to get the PPT ready. Luckily, I do not need to sacrifice my precious sleeping hours  for this task. Also I felt happy about the process because I did not need to hustle. Instead, so many good answers were found and a lot of wisdom was gained in the preparation.

I am quite proud of myself as I have found a more enjoyable pace to approach deadlines.
