【英文绘本】Dog Wash Day
在一个晴空万里的好日子小朋友们要干一个大工程——给狗狗洗澡！他们准备了澡盆、洗发水、毛巾还有很多很多水，招呼狗狗们来洗澡了！小弟弟也想来帮忙，可是被姐姐们拒绝了于是他带来了小猫咪想一起玩，可是小猫咪见到狗狗们立刻跑走了，狗狗们也追着猫咪而去，他们穿过花丛越过栅栏，看来狗狗们有需要洗澡了~
【正文】
Today is dog wash day.
今天是狗洗澡的日子。
We have a big pool for the big dogs.
我们为大狗准备了一个大泳池。
And a small pool for the small dogs.
还有一个供小狗玩耍的小游泳池。
We have shampoo and towels and lots of water.
我们有洗发水、毛巾和很多水。
Our little brother wants to help.
我们的小弟弟想要帮忙。
"No!" we say.
“不用！”我们说。
We put on raincoats and boots.
我们穿上雨衣和靴子。
All we need now are some dogs.
我们现在只需要一些狗。
So we make signs.
所以我们做了标志。
We put our dog in a wagon.
我们把狗放进一辆四轮车里。
We call, "We will wash dogs today!"
我们喊:“今天我们要给狗洗澡!”
Soon, lots of dogs show up.
很快，很多狗出现了。
Lulu looks like a mop with a bow.
露露看起来像个打了蝴蝶结的拖把。
Buster looks like he has a black eye.
巴斯特看起来像他有一个黑眼睛。
Holly looks like a hot dog with a tail.
霍莉看起来像个有尾巴的热狗。
More dogs come.
更多的狗来了。
There are dogs with short ears.
有耳朵短的狗。
There are dogs with spots.
有带斑点的狗。
Our brother wants to get into the pool, too.
我们的弟弟也想去游泳池。
"No!" I say.
“不行！”我说。
"Today, this pool is for dogs, not a boy."
“今天，这个游泳池是给狗的，不是给男孩的。”
We wash the dogs.
我们给狗洗澡。
We dry them with towels.
我们用毛巾给它们擦干。
They are nice and clean.
它们又好看，又干净。
My brother is back.
我的弟弟回来了。
He has our cat.
他带着我们的猫。
Oh, no!
噢，不！
There goes the cat.
那只猫跑了。
There go the dogs.
狗也跑过去了。
There goes our brother.
我们的弟弟也在跑。
They run into the flowers.
他们跑进了花丛中。
They jump over the fence.
他们跳过了栅栏。
They go under the clothes.
他们藏在衣服下面。
Oh, no!
噢，不！
What a mess.
真是一团糟。
Today is dog wash day.
今天是给狗洗澡的日子。
Today is boy wash day, too!
今天也是男孩洗澡的日子！
