Let bygones be bygones
I have studied English on and off for 20 years. Due to insufficient accumulation my spoken and written English are still especially poor.
When I was in America, I was most afraid of talking on phone in English. I hardly understood what the other person was saying. I was determined to improve my English level, especially in speaking and listening.
Since then when I have been doing something else, I often have turned on an English App “Daily English Listening”. Actually, I haven’t paid attention to listening, so I mostly have missed. Besides, only input without output was not enough. It seems that the bad moods would do harm to our body if they were not discharged in time.
I simply read and listened frequently, but I didn’t practice what I had studied, so I only finished learning partially. From now on, in order to realize my goal to use English fluently I am resolved to vary my study way from simply reading and listening. Through writing diary and translating articles everyday I will strengthen my abilities in these two respects.
Let bygones be bygones. Greet a new beginning with optimism. Perseverance prevails. Come On!
