#T8 ‘Isirika’

Isrika, a vocabulary in west Kenya, means to reach out for one another within the community,

It encourages us  to see other person as a human being first (regardless of health, gender, occupation, etc.), to respect every idea, and to hold faith that 'it is a privilege to give more if you have more'.

The speaker also extends to the statement that 'to solve the world's biggest problem, we need to invest in women and girls'. The logic here might be that she believes females tend to understand Isirika and care for each other better, which might not always be true.

A better way might be to encourage 'Isirika' among the world, male and female, and to enjoy a community full of caring and giving.
