The first day at university
How time flies, I am already a sophomore student! Looking back on the first day at university, those things are still so clear, like it was yesterday.
It was a sunny day in September, and I got into the car of my father's friend early by myself with the luggage I had packed the night before. At that time, for various reasons, my parents can't send me to university in person, so my father asked his friend to drive me to school. As a result, I did not experience the loneliness of my parents sending me to school and then leaving, as many classmates did. I was more worried about how I was going to move in with all my luggage.
I get carsick easily. So when my father's friend said that I had arrived at school, I was in a very uncomfortable state. I was very dizzy standing near the school gate for a while before I could barely recover. Then I struggled to get to the school gate, dragging lots of luggage. At this time, a security guard came to help me carry some of my luggage through the school gate, and told me that I could ask for volunteers to help. I followed his instructions and saw a lot of volunteers holding up college signs to look for the freshman. As soon as I entered the school gate, a volunteer came to me and asked me which college I was from. After I told him, he took me to find the volunteers of my college. Later, I was helped by two volunteer sisters, who helped me finish all kinds of admission procedures and personally sent me to the dormitory, and constantly introduced a lot of things to me on the way, l felt very warm, just like returning home. As expected, I later joined the volunteer team. When the freshmen arrived this year, I greeted them in the same way, hoping to pass on the love and warmth I had felt.
After settling everything, I went to the school for a circle, I can not help but sigh: warm and beautiful, deep atmosphere, will my soul lightly dizzy! I went to eat a meal in the canteen, and then went back to the dormitory, took out my diary, and solemnly wrote: "Cherish the learning opportunity, and strive to become a better self!"
When I write this memory about my first day at university, I still feel very incredible, I believe: the journey of youth should be brave, and the experience in university will become a very beautiful prose poem in my life!
