Go All Out

Explanation

Hello! Guys! Today's expression is so amazing!

I am going to do everything!

I am going to give everything I can to you!

I am going to go all out!

To go all out!! to go all out means to do 110 percent of your energy, of your passion, of whatever.

I am going to go all out tonight when I sing "Happy Birthday".

When I teach English, I go all out. I sweat. I use props. I do everything I can.

That's "to go all out". So, "to go all out" means all of your energy, all of your passion, all of your ability is going out, is coming out you do everything you can.

When you study English, do you go all out, do you do everything you can? I hope so!

Dialogue

It's time to today's dialogue.

A: Look at all the bags!

B: Christmas shopping! I went all out this year.

A: Did you get one for me?

B: No. You said you didn't believe in Santa.

One more time.

Commentary

That's right! If you tell me, you don't believe in Santa, I will not give you a Christmas present. What do you think about that? But if you tell me, you do believe in Santa Cruz, then maybe, on Christmas day, I'll go all out and do something special. A Christmas dance or maybe I will sing a song for all of you.

Ok! That's all for today. See you next time!
