The horrendous walk experience
Today’s topic is about a long walk I had. I like to walk and I had some experiences to cover more than twenty kilometers. However, today I’d like to talk about a horrendous walk experience of last month.
I remembered it was Sunday of March. After I attended the worshipping service in church at noon, I decided to eat noodles in a famous restaurant, because I loved its light taste with vegetable. Even if I love the noodles of the restaurant, I only allowed myself to eat it once a year. After all, its soup was added with other condiments to make its taste fresh. That morning, I ate two sweet potatoes and a bowl of the whole grain porridge for my breakfast. When the worshipping service was ended about 1:30PM, I couldn’t feel hungry. To eat the noodle per my plan, I decided to walk alone to the restaurant instead of the bus. I imagined that when I arrived at the restaurant, I should be hungry, and then I could enjoy my favorite noodle.
It was about six kilometers from the church to the restaurant. It took me about ninety minutes to there. Because I wore the high-heeled shoes, my speed was much slower than I wore sport shoes. Happily, I had a good dinner. I ordered a big bowl of my favorite noodle. I ate up the food including soup. After the lunch, I stayed there to learn the English for two hours. For me, when I eat some delicious food, I will worry about my weight. The noodle was very delicious. At that moment, I decided to walk to my home. I knew that the distance was about ten kilometers from the restaurant to my home by searching the navigation system. Per my walk speed, I could reach my home about two and half an hour. If I took the bus, it took me more than one hour due to traffic jam. In addition, I often suffers from car sickness, so I imagined that walk would be my good choice. I not only did exercise, but also I avoided the car sickness trouble. However, on the way to my home from the restaurant, it was very dark. Especially, there were two kilometers’ distances with no light and street. The road’s both were hills. I was so scared first to walk the road like this at night. I could not take bus again and I couldn’t stop walking. I only prayed for my walk in silence…
That night, I returned to my home at 10:00 PM with horror. Because of the horrendous experience, I thought I didn’t walk for long distance again at night, especially, strange environments…
