He wanted to look at her, protect her, enjoy happiness with her, but he didn't think he would change his lifestyle,And he didn't want to let other people know she slept in his home. Sleeping together at night, was  proof.

总结：对于单词的拼写形式要注意，单词的过去式，要拼写准确。

这两段讲了主人公托马斯所谓的世界观，对于性，他的表达方式，所以，刚开始我比较反感，甚至不想再继续翻译了。我还是尝试着翻译。首先，是不想放弃自己所要做的事，其次是这本书我想通过翻译来理解作者，理解这个世界的不同。同时我也承认自己的狭隘，不仅仅如此，我更想坚持自己的判断力，去辨别世界的五颜六色。

自相矛盾，首先就是自己不够勇敢，不够坚定，因为我相信，做着做着就有了答案。与其一味地回味过去，不如就安静下来，感受世界的变化，感受当下的快乐。
