This design aims to work out a new kind of recognition technology of computer pattern.Through the application of the technology, we will be able to create software which enables real-time translation for sign language of the deaf-mute.
A customer shows "ni hao". Through two cameras and three infared LEDs,the leap motion controller captures the data of hands,fingers and gestures.Meanwhile, the data will be uploaded to software.Then,the software will filter the three-dimensional vectors of each finger joint relative to the center of our palm. And then, it will establish data manipulation language under C++ according to given encoding format, next is important step, conducting a relatively fuzzy comparison of the data of signs which has already been included in SQLite database. By comparing the outcome, the meaning of each gesture will be acquired, which will be represented in the interface of this software.
