1.precious few / little = used to emphasize the fact that there is very little of something or that there are very few of something

And there are precious few way for women make money.

There's precious little to do in this town.

2.practically = almost; very nearly

practically the same thing.

The theatre was practically empty.

With that crack in it,the vase is worth practically nothing.

3.heed = to pay attention to something,especially advice or a warning

That's why you should heed me.

4.freedman = a person who has been freed from slavery

Your father cared more about educating freedmen's children than he did about caring for his own family.

He cares more about his career than love.

6.sneak = to go somewhere secretly and quietly in order to avoid being seen or heard.

And don't sneak around. I don't like sneaks.
