kubernetes中静态pod学习笔记

背景介绍

最近翻看kubelet源码,看到配置项的时候,发现了静态pod这一概念。

而本人也是使用kubespherek8s进行管理的,其中kubesphere启动k8s控制节点服务(控制器、调度器、apiserver)也是通过静态pod进行管理的。

由此,想学习学习静态pod的概念。

静态pod

什么是静态pod

kubelet直接管理的pod被称为静态pod

我们通常通过以下方式创建pod:

  1. 调用api-server创建一个pod类型资源

实际调用流程大致为:kubectl -> apiserver -> pod配置清单写入etcd后,调用scheduler获取调度节点,将调度信息写入etcd -> 通知Kubelet进行创建 -> 调用容器运行时创建容器

而静态pod的创建流程非常简单: kubelet -> 调用容器运行时创建容器

那么请思考一个问题: kubelet直接管理的Pod为什么还能通过apiserver获取到?

这里我们举个例子:

kube-apiserverkube-controller-managerkube-scheduler通过以静态pod的方式创建。

我们看下apiserverpod描述,Controlled By说明了该podNode/node1管理

回到上述问题:kubelet直接管理的Pod为什么还能通过apiserver获取到?

因为kubelet会为每个它管理的静态pod,调用api-server创建一个对应的pod镜像。
由此以来,静态pod也能通过kubectl等方式进行访问,与其他控制器创建出来的pod看起来没有什么区别。

如何使用静态pod

通过kubelet进行配置:
