1、There’s a fire starting in my heart.  不要在中间去上扬，就是平平淡淡是最美。总是升调的话，有点“zuo”。

读一句话的时候，要想想怎么把话读得舒服，就像听人讲话一样舒服。当模仿的程度还没有达到可以这样读的时候，尽量用平调和降调去练习。

2. Don’t underestimate中don’t 的t不是吞掉尾音了，而是留出这个音的位置，不出声，只是做个口型。

3. We almost had it all.我们本来是可以拥有一切的。  had it all 连读  ha-di-dall 

知识点：

1、pitch 作名词表示音高（absolute pitch 绝对音高）和足球场；作动词表示兜售或支持，如：pitch an idea/a business 兜售想法, pitch/set up a tent 支起帐篷。

fever pitch：a state of intense excitement and agitation  表示狂热、兴奋的状态

2. crystal clear  押韵，固定表达，有两个意思：（像水晶一样的）清澈透明的；浅显的，显而易见的。 clear-cut 明确的，明显的  It’s so obvious. = It’s crystal clear. （歌词）我把你看得真真切切，明明白白。I can see you crystal clear.

3. go ahead 就是你去做这件事情吧，但它可以做名词使用，如：我得到了老板的许可。The boss gave me a go ahead.= The boss said Yes. 这样的表达就很形象、简洁。 类似的表达还有green light，如：give a green light

4.  sell sb. out 出卖某人= rat sb. out

6. lay bare sth. 揭露某事，如：lay bare one’s private lives 曝光某人的私生活

7. underestimate低估 /overestimate高估    Don’t underestimate your ability. 不要低估自己的能力。

underperform表现不佳,工作不如预期/overperform  偏离剧本表演

underwhelming索然无味/overwhelming无法抗拒

某个地方环境非常好，但实物难吃。The place is overwhelming but the food is underwhelming.

8. have it all 拥有一切。鱼和熊掌不可兼得 You can’t have one's/your cake and eat it.

9. story  It’s another story/ a different story. 另一回事，不同情况

10. 我大学之后的经历大家都知道了，可以说The rest is history. 剩下的都是历史了，就是说其实大家都知道怎么回事了，剩下的事就不需要我多说了。如：Before Jack Ma built his Alibaba Empire, he is an English teacher. After teaching English for 2 years in Hangzhou, he created … and he failed and he built sth, and failed again. Then he built Alibaba and the rest is history.

11. in depth 有深度的，深入的

We have some in depth conversation/discussion/research.

12. count your blessing 别身在福中不知福。如：他说今天要早起去上班，挣得比谁都少，赚得比谁都多，好累啊。我说count your blessing 你一周上班少，还吐槽呀，比我好多了。

a blessing in disguise 因祸得福        bless you 别人打喷嚏的时候说

13. treasure 做动词表示珍视。

珍视你的眼睛 treasure your eyes

14. You reap what you sow. / reap as one has sown  自食其果，出来混早晚是要还的, 种瓜得瓜种豆得豆。
