刚看到两则公司CEO卸任的媒体新闻消息（如下图），其表达为Sb is out/step aside or down as CEO of a company.

当然我觉得更为重要的一词则是helm，原为航海用语，在做动词和名词时，则更多引申为“掌舵”及“领导”之意，如有at the helm/take the helm等。另外现在也被借用到entertainment industry如direct a film。相关解释及用语查询如下：
