Lesson 39 At the Foreign Exchang

When you go abroad,What's the thing you need most?Money,of course!You'll need to go to the bank to buy some traveler's checks.Then when you  arrive at your destination,you'll have to go to a bank to cash the checks.Every bank has a foreign exchange department.However,you'll have to speak with the teller in English because he or she will probably not understand Chinese.

you should,therefore,brush up on some of the words and phrases that are commonly used when changing money at bank.For example,you might want to know what the day's exchange rate is,or if there are any handing chages,etc.Worried? arrive in 大地方 （城市国家等）

 need to + 动词原形 --> 必须

need + 名词 --> 需要

need to 被动语态 need + 动名词 一定是主动语态

The door needs to be fixed 这扇门需要修理

The door needs fixing.

need not + 动词原形 不必.... （无任何时态变化）

错误用法:

He needs not go 和He need not to go 都是错误用法

正确用法:He need not go （他不必去）

He didn't need to attend the meeting,so he stayed home.

didn't need to + 动词原形 当时不必，（而却未做）

You need not have given me so much money

need not have + 过去分词 当时不必，（但却做了）
