to go unconscious after taking a narcotic drug like heroin

For example:

🔺After injecting some heroin, Wayne's head slowly drooped forward as he nodded out.

🔺The most dangerous time for a heroin user is when they nod out. If no-one is there to wake them up, they can go unconscious and die.
