today's tip is on how syllable stress can effect the meaning of words

remenber that stress syllable are said louder and alenfint

and unstress syllable are prenounce more softly

and often;

and often have the vao sound reduced

sometimes this difference can be the difference between a verb and a noun or ajtive

there are a list faulty pare of words in which syllable stress along make this difference

some example include adict edit 

convacte convicte

perfect

eachtime this second syllable is stress

the word is verb 

when the first syllable is stress

the word is eather a noun or ajtive

let's look at some examples more closely

permit 

a permit is a noun

it is a peice of paper which offer risers you to do something

for estings a fishing permit 

allows you to go fishing

permit is a verb

it means to allow

for instance

fishing isn't permit here without a permit

another example is perfect

perfect is an ajtive

it means a hundred persent correct, no mistakes or errors

the verb is perfect, it means to make something perfect

for example i want to perfect my English means I want to make my English perfect.

make sure you stress the right syllable

it can be the  difference between difference parts of speech
