卢克读到此处，狱霸马塞尔示意黑头用手中的厕所毛刷重力拍打卢克的脑袋，因为他知道，卢克没有进入角色阅读，只是采用一种语音语调。

卢克又遭到来自厕所毛刷的一记重击，原因是他读得有些过快。
【狱霸马塞尔】：What's the big hurry[7]? Is there somewhere else you'd rather[8] be?
【卢克】：Not at all. How could my life possibly get...?
卢克还没说完，就被黑头用厕所毛刷堵住了嘴，阻止他在朗读过程中乱讲话。
【卢克】：Argh[9]! Here we go!
【狱霸马塞尔】：Shall we continue?
【卢克】：" The forest went deadly silent..." Ripping[10] " 'Behind you! ' screamed Aro. " And there was a slight ripping sound and everyone's OK. The end.
狱霸马塞尔躺在床上，听着卢克给他朗读小说，而卢克趁其昏昏欲睡和黑头背对之机，快速扯下部分书页，并藏在了上衣之内。
【狱霸马塞尔】：Really?
【卢克】：I know, what a cliffhanger[11]! Right, I'm really missing our evenings together, boys.
【狱霸马塞尔】：Me too. You're much better at this than Daz was.
【黑头达兹】：Oi ! That's not f-f-f-f...
【卢克】：Let me get out of your hair. I've got plenty I need to be doing.
卢克正在离开狱霸马塞尔的牢房，不料突然被黑头达兹用厕所毛刷撂倒。
