[一五一十] EOS WPS代码开源 && EO

工作者提案系统(Worker Proposal System) 和 EOS基金会(EOS Alliance)是目前EOS社区的两个重要项目，今天更新一下关于这两者的一些我看到的信息。

主要是两条信息：

• EOS WPS(工作者提案系统)开源
• EOS Alliance网站上列出了对仲裁工作组的职能介绍

EOS社区需要更多成员的积极参与，因为你， EOS生态会更加健壮成长。

EOS WPS代码开源

一句话概括是：工作者提案系统的相应代码开源了，WPS的工作组希望能够得到社区的反馈和代码评估。

8月20日发布的该公告，目的是告知EOS社区成员当前WPS的相关代码已经开源，期望对代码进行公开的review和反馈。

从7月16日开始开发，现在在Github上，已经将该部分代码开源，代码库见：

在这个代码库中，主要包括了这几个部分：

• 后台部分，见backend文件夹
• 合约部分，见contracts文件夹

在合约部分(https://github.com/EOS-BP-Developers/wps-backend/tree/master/contracts)的README%E7%9A%84README) 文件中，详细介绍了合约的每个action和table，方便社区成员对此进行了解。

如果发现问题或者有疑问的话，除了发起github issue之外，也可以加入电报群：channel 进行反馈。

现在的进度是，开发者已经可以clone代码然后运行了，如果有想要参与的同学，可以直接区上述提到的代码库clone下来，然后运行试试看。

除此之外，我还找到EOS WPS工作组的一个开源代码库： https://github.com/EOS-BP-Developers/wps-portal

根据初步的了解，这是用作wps投票前端的部分，即用户投票时可见的部分，是用nodejs开发的，不过没见到对该项目进度的介绍。

有时间的话，我也会对这部分的代码进行测试和反馈。

仲裁工作组的全称，叫做纠纷调解与仲裁工作组(Dispute Resolution & Aribitration Working Group, 缩写为DR&A WG)。

EOS Alliance参考了IEEE的组织结构，采用了伞型的架构，除董事会之外，下设了五个不同的工作组，而DR&A WG(纠纷调解与仲裁工作组)成立的目的，是为了帮助EOS社区对于仲裁相关的流程和设计架构等相关的事务做出决策， 在治理结构中的仲裁这部分，建立明晰的认知和架构。

initial Proposal: EOS Dispute Resolution & Arbitration (DR&A) Working Group（初始提案：EOS纠纷调解 & 仲裁(DR&A)工作组）

PROBLEM STATEMENT 问题陈述

The original EOS whitepaper envisioned a blockchain that would allow for the resolution of disputes on the blockchain. Accordingly, the EOS Core Arbitration Forum (ECAF) was proposed as one of three arms of the EOS governance structure tasked with responsibility for arbitration, with token holders and block producers being the other two arms.

最初的EOS白皮书中设想的区块链，可以允许在链上解决纠纷。相应的，提议了EOS核心仲裁论坛(ECAF)作为EOS治理结构的三个分支之一，其任务是负责仲裁事务，而token持有人和出块节点则是治理结构中的另外两个分支。

Transparency and Process 透明度和处理过程

The launch of the EOS network triggered the filing of thousands of disputes, mostly due to issues regarding unregistered wallets or victims of phishing scams during the registration process. Arbitrators from ECAF recommended that BPs freeze several wallets to prevent the transfer of such stolen tokens, which resulted in some negative reaction from the EOS tokenholder community. This was due, in part, to the lack of transparency in the process, since some wallets were ordered frozen before the reasoning behind the order was disclosed.

EOS网络启动后，有上千笔纠纷产生，绝大部分与钱包未注册或者在注册过程中遭遇钓鱼诈骗有关。
ECAF仲裁员建议出块节点(BPs)冻结了若干钱包，防止被盗token的转账。但是这也造成了EOS持币人社区的一些负面的反应。这种情况，部分是由于在处理过程中缺少透明度造成的，因为，在执行对许多钱包的冻结命令之前，并没有对冻结命令背后的原因进行披露。

ECAF(EOS 核心仲裁论坛，EOS Core Arbitration Forum)

Since then, community members have called into question whether arbitration should be mandatory, and whether ECAF should exist. If ECAF should continue its work, an additional issue is funding for ECAF.

自那时以来，社区成员开始质疑，仲裁是否需要强制执行，以及ECAF是否应该存在。如果ECAF要继续他们的工作，那么，为ECAF提供资金会是另外一个问题。

Design & Scalability 设计 & 扩展性

Additionally, community members, including block producers, are concerned with the scalability of the current system since they are tasked with enforcement of the arbitration results. Today, there are thousands of cases; in a year, there may be hundreds of thousands or millions of cases, which creates a daunting workload for ECAF arbitrators and block producers.

另外，包含出块节点在内的社区成员，比较关注当前系统的可扩展性，因为他们的任务是执行仲裁的结果。现在，有数千笔仲裁案子；一年之内，也许会有数十万个案子或者上百万案子，这对ECAF的仲裁员和出块节点带来了巨大的工作量。

MISSION 任务

Working under the EOS Foundation umbrella, the mission of the DR&A WG is engage with the EOS community to design, propose, socialize, and continually improve on a transparent, scalable and just arbitration infrastructure with the input of the EOS community.

在EOS基金会的伞型结构之下，DR&A工作小组的任务是与EOS社区合作，在EOS社区的参与下，设计、提议、传播并持续改进透明、可扩展、公正的仲裁基础设施。

METHOD 方法

The DR&A WG shall work collaboratively and cooperatively with the EOS community to determine how the community desires its disputes to be resolved.

TIMELINE 时间线

Due to the urgency of the matter and buildup of filed claims and discussions within the community, it will run in parallel with the Constitution Working Group.
