Why doesn’t God clearly tell us?
“As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead. ---Mark9:9
Jesus gave his disciples orders not to tell anyone until Christ’s resurrected life is over you. Let you understand the teaching of Christ. When there is real change in you, what Jesus said is so clear that you wondered why you didn’t see before. You didn’t understand before, for there was no room in your nature for his words.
The Lord does not hide these things, but our spiritual lives are not in a proper place to bear them. “I have many things to tell you, but you cannot bear them now.” We must be connected to the Lord’s resurrected life to accept his words. Do we know how Jesus’s resurrected life flowed? The proof that we know is that we can understand him. If we don’t have God’s spirit, God can not reveal the great obstacle on the truth. If we hold a doctrine according to our own opinion, God’s light ceases to shine and we cannot see. But as soon as his resurrected life dominate us, the foolish situation will be put to an end.
“…not to tell anyone…” And many people told of the transfiguration upon the mountains; they saw visions, and bare witness greatly. The spirit was not yet mature because the Son of Man had not yet risen in their mind. When will he take shape in you and me?
Dear God, may you make us soft and meek, inspired and inspired by you. Lift us into a place of glorious fellowship with you, so that we can capture your image. (20190919)
