Please make sure that you read the question carefully and check the word limit before you start answering. You have been asked to write about a personal experience or something that happened to someone you know. You need not describe the Knight Valley. I have corrected only within the given word limit. Please note. To talk about something in general, put the nouns in the plural form and do not use the definite article 'the'. Examples, mountains, seas... To talk about an action in the past, which is a finished action, use the simple past tense. Put the main verbs as well as the 'be verbs' in the past tense. Another clue is, (ago, yesterday, last week, last month, last year etc…+ simple past tense). Example, it was... Looking forward to reading your next piece of writing.
“A true man loves the mountains; and a wise man loves the sea.” Chinese prefer mountains to seas, climbing to the top, soaring high, letting breeze comb through hair. On Valentine’s Day, I brought my date to enjoy a day out in Knight Valley, a theme park in east mountain area of Shenzhen. It was a pleasant day of early spring. The park unrolls from seaside to hillside and from foothills to the hilltop, a paradise on earth bathing in sunshine, with birds singing and chatting in trees and flowers tipsily tossing in breezes. Two shades of white clouds stay together and move slowly against the vast clear blue sky, perfectly presenting lovers’ mood under them. A day with great visibility, people love to overlook the sea from the top. With an altitude of 480m, Yunding Sightseeing Area of Knight Valley is the best viewing deck overlooking the whole open seashore. Among many projects is the Peak Platform, a U-shape corridor with transparent floor extending beyond the cliff. Instead of climbing hill trails, we chose cable-way. Plumes of mist, powered by mountain wind, tapping the ascending cable-car, my girlfriend Linda was excited by the retreating seashore line and the never-tired pursuing of sea-waves to the crowded beach. I couldn’t help looking down, and then felt caught by a wave of nerves. While pretending enjoying the view, I felt my palms sweating and found two hands holding the seat firmly. Finally, we were on the top. Linda was capering ahead of me, rushing to the Peak Platform, while I was lagging and hesitating behind. She called me to take a portrait picture for her over there against the magnificent vista. Treading on the transparent floor, I am shaking in my shoes, sweating profusely; oh, my gosh; a thousand-foot precipice is under my feet! Linda realized something and rushed back to me. “Is this called acrophobia?” I was speechless for a while, admitting that fear of heights knocked into my weak point, and speculating, “Have I screwed up the date? How awkward I am!”
