Working Slowly Better Than Worki

  Modernization is changing our life and urging us to finish everything as quick as possible. Most people would agree that we should accelerate the rhythm of our work despite risking to make mistakes, but controversies risen when the slow-paced work could ensure everything correct. Therefore, I tend to agree that people should not work so fast in order to meet the goal.

  It is absolutely true that working slowly could save us time. Some might think that is ridiculous for people consuming more time in the slow work than the fast one and putting more energies in it. However, if we think it in the opposite way, there would be a different conclusion. What we do right now might be time-consuming and exhausting, but we make sure that everything we handled is almost perfect, which means there will be less time needed to correct our mistakes after that. The more time you pay in the work right now, the less time you need to come back to fix it in the future.

  Haste does not bring our work easier. While it is true that finishing work fast could help people invest more time in other areas and avoid working overnight, it should be noted that every man has his faults and no one could make sure his works are perfect. Therefore, working quickly means the odds of making mistakes are on the rise. Then we have to spend more time on getting our previous work back on track.

  Taking into account all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that working slowly should be our current lifestyle. An emphasis should be placed not only upon the speed of working, but more importantly on its quality. In that case can we reach a balance between our life and work.
