This American writer came up a simple organizing framework for needs and desires that often feel irretrievably complicated: acts of service, words of affirmation,quality time,receiving gifts and physical touch. People who might otherwise look askance at a personality quiz appeal to that. This kind of fundamental premise of self-help teachings reveals that we all want to be loved,to feel connection to one another.
Personally, for me I love words of affirmation, physical touch and quality time. Beautiful and sweet words always work for me and a big hug can heal me at any time.
