He went to the University of Kazan(after he finished school.)

4、He took an active part in revolutionary work, didn't he?

yes, he did.

5、What part did he play in the student movement?

he was a leader of the student movement and played an inport part in it.

He studied hard and was the best student in his class。

yes, he did.

Why did he do so？

Because he knew foreign languages are a useful weapon in revolutionary struggle.

He was only of the great revolutionary leaders of the working class。He led the October Revolution in 1917, He died in 1924 ,and was buried in Moscow's  Red Square.
