Weibo Enters Short Video War, Now Testing App Internally
Chinese social media platform Weibo is testing a short video app, Planet Video, which can automatically import Weibo contacts. 中国社交媒体平台微博，正在测试一款可自动导入微博联系人的视频应用程序--“星球视频”。
"Planet Video is a UGC video community with five sections: "Home", "Discover", "Shoot", "News" and "My". “ 星球视频”是一个UGC视频社区，分为五个部分：“首页”，“发现”，“拍摄”，“新闻”和“我的”。
The videos in the app will be presented to users in the form of feed streams, and all kinds of videos have been well classified. app中的视频将会以信息流的方式呈现给用户，而且所有的视频都被好好分类了。
从2013年起，微博就一直在尝试拓展短视频领域，但是，秒拍、随手拍、快推鱼短视频和爱动小视频均未取得重大成功。
