You may wonder, can we help our child get the recommended one-plus hours of daily physical activity when you can't even make it to the gym?

Let's rethink the purpose of we workout? It's to training our heart, lung, muscle and joint physiologically. On this point, I can tell you plenty child work out activities.

"A workout doesn't have to mean running laps or lifting weights, which requires you to set aside blocks of time," Adelphi University professor Stephen Virgilio, author of Active Start for Healthy Kids (Human Kinetics Publishers) says. "Think of exercise as leading an active lifestyle, which you can do with your kids, and you'll be able to fit in more than you think."

What kind of exercise is fun and get fit for child?

Exercise increases the blood flow to all body tissues, including the brain. Greater blood flow transports more oxygen and nutrients to the body’s cells. But for child, doing exercise is nothing more then have fun.

Age 0-2

Age 2-6

Age 6+

It never too early to start exercise!
