沂河生写字

迢迢牵牛星，皎皎河汉女。

纤纤擢素手，札札弄机杼。

终日不成章，泣涕零如雨；

河汉清且浅，相去复几许！

盈盈一水间，脉脉不得语。

So high up is the glinting Altair.

And the Vega twinkles bright and fair.

As her slender and white hands move,

The Weaving Maid operates the clacking loom.

All day long she weaves nothing.

With tears like rainfalls she’s crying.

So clean and shallow is the Milky Way,

That the loved Cowherd isn’t far away.

Gazing at each other across the glistering stream,

They can speak nothing of the meeting dream.
